When you don't have a pool, and it's 100 degrees out, this is one way to keep cool. Even if she isn't playing with the ball, I find myself turning it on as a mister for my patio. Sometimes I even find myself floating in the blow up pool. Whatever works!

Sedona Trip
We took a small vacation for 4 days to Sedona. It was amazing to see all the red rock formations that were created many years ago from the wind. We took a Jeep tour up to the top of Shnebly Hill. We also went to a little Safari zoo about 30 minutes away from Sedona. It was the amazing! There were Zebras, Giraffe, Watuzi Cows, Ostrich, Lions, Tigers, and Bears Oh my! We road in a bus and the would feed the animals from inside. The Giraffe would eat a carrot out of your mouth with his big long scratchy tongue. I have never been this close to these animals. Most of them are rescue animals and some are so agressive they are in a permanent time out. We had a great trip, and was great to see some of this beautiful state where we live.
We had a nice trip. It is always more challenging to travel with a little one that hates the car, doesn't sleep well unless she is in her own bed, and is into everything. It's nice to take small little trips that don't require us to fly, because that's a whole different experience I'm not willing to try!

Oh NO!
I guess when you sleep for 12 hours you are well rested at 7AM and ready to burn off all your energy. Leila is always moving like this, running, yelling, jumping, and her throwing toys. She is happy, but boy does she wear me out....and yes she is wearing PJ's that say "I love Santa." Such a monkey!

Having a Magical Day
We took Leila to Disneyland for the first time for Eli's 3rd birthday, and although she is a little young, she had a great time. Leila is a very active kid. She loves to run, and climb and didn't quite understand the concept of waiting in line. What kid does? She wanted to ride the rides NOW, and when it was over, cried because she wanted it to keep going. We had a great time, and were happy to share the day with family. Kids were waiting patiently as we bought tickets.
First Carousel ride, and she knew exactly what to do.
She desperately wanted to climb out of the boat on "It's a Small World"
Round 2 on the Carousel. The line was the shortest.
Riding the Casey Jr. Train

Such a great day, as well as exhausting! I think we will wait till our kids are a little older until we go to Disneyland again.

Desert Trip
We took an overnight trip to Glamis a couple weekends ago. I was worried that she would be overwhelmed by the loud motorcycles, and wind but she loved every minute of it. She loved the sand, the motorcycle helmets, her goggles, and the wind in her hair. She adapted well, making this trip probably one of many.
She is race ready with her helmet and gloves.
She's ready to go on a ride
Loving the sand
I think she is going to be our little daring, adventure girl, just like her daddy. We had a fun trip with our little Leila.
