Little busy bee
It was a very beautiful weekend out in Havasu, and perfect weather to be outdoors. We had some good friends stay with us this weekend and kept very busy. We went to a rockabilly concert Saturday where Daddy won his little girl a stuffed pink dolphin by throwing darts at balloons. She loved watching all the people and listening to the music. We had a BBQ, and then watched the annual pyrotechnic fireworks show where Leila slept through the entire event. On Sunday we attempted to take out the boat but the batteries were dead so we played down by the water and then went swimming in the jacuzzi. She fell asleep early last night and slept 11 hours! She was tuckered out!

Leila's Baptism
This past weekend was Leila's Orthodox Baptism at St. Peter's Church here in Havasu. We were very fortunate to have family and friends witness this momentous event, and had a great reception at Papou and Yia Yia's (Adam's parents) house. Her dress has special meaning to us as it was made by my mother in law, out of the train of my wedding dress. She had an exhausting day, but enjoyed all the love she received.

Lala in a TuTu
We love this little girl so much! She is so much fun to dress up and take pictures of, because even though she looks silly, she gives me the most heartwarming smile!

Spoonful of Rice Cereal. Yum!
Lately we've been experimenting with rice cereal. I'm not sure if Leila really likes it, or if she just likes gnawing on the colorful spoon to put pressure on her sore teething gums. Either way, she does eat a few spoonfuls and the rest ends up on her bib, face or in her hair. She loves to grab the spoon and feed herself.
