We had a great visit back in Hemet for our nephew Eli's 2nd Birthday party this last weekend. We always love to get together with family and are grateful that we can just drive into town. We always enjoy my sisters Birthday celebrations because of all the creativity that goes into the special day. Alison, I hope you are working on ideas for Leila's big 1 year bash....I don't know if my Betty Crocker cake out of the box with sprinkles will even compare to your cake designing. I better start planning soon!

Leila turned 7 months yesterday and spent the day in the ER here in Havasu. On Saturday, she woke up with a slight cough that progressed to a fever, runny nose, and watery eyes. Her cough worsened to more of a gag or choke, she had a hard time catching her breath and when we got back home she wasn't getting any better. Last night we took her to to ER and found out she had two ear infections, got some antibiotics and she is a new baby today. Still coughing this morning but had a great nights sleep, the fever has stayed down and is as crazy as ever. She still gives me the biggest smiles.

Yeah she is a chunk! I had to buy her 18 month jammies and although they are big, the 12 month ones are tight! We hope she thins out. :) Hope all is well!
You would never know she wasn't feeling good with all those smiles!
