Leila turned ONE this weekend and her party was at the Pakes Ice Cream Parlor. We had such a great time preparing for her party. My sister, who is super creative had given me the idea for her party. She came a couple days early to help me get ready, and together we pulled off a great party.
The dessert table was complete with ice cream shaped cookies, cupcakes in the shape of a cone, ice cream chocolate molds, and an ice cream cake.
We were so fortunate to have both sides of our families here to celebrate her big day. She was all smiles as she walked around carrying a balloon on her wrist.
She had fun opening presents, but rather would have played with tissue paper and ribbons. She added a couple more Barney videos to her collection, got her winter wardrobe, much needed shoes, books, and great toys.
She wasn't too sure about the cake, and really didn't want to get her hands dirty. I think she liked the frosting the best. It turned out to be a great weekend as we celebrated Leila's birthday.
